How VideoLooks uses account information and keeps editing on your device.
Updated 20 September 2026
Who provides VideoLooks.
The service is provided under the name VideoLooks. For privacy questions, account deletion or other requests about your information, contact videolooksapp@gmail.com.
This notice describes the current free release. It has no checkout, payment processing or email-code sign-in service.
Your account and sign-in.
The editor uses Google sign-in. Google provides your account identifier, name, email address, email verification status and profile picture when available. We use these details to create or recognize your VideoLooks account and give you access to the editor. We request basic sign-in and profile information, not access to your Gmail messages, Drive files or contacts.
Account and sign-in records are stored in a Cloudflare-hosted database. They include your profile, linked Google account and authentication tokens, session records, IP address and browser information used to maintain and protect your session. These records are separate from your imported media and locally saved grades.
Google account information is used for sign-in, account management, support and security. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Services that help run the app.
Cloudflare hosts the website, account database and included app assets, and provides security checks and technical request logs. Google provides sign-in. These services process the information needed for those functions; their infrastructure may process data in countries other than yours.
If you email videolooksapp@gmail.com, your address and the message you send are handled through Gmail so we can respond. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or private media files. Authorized administrators can manage accounts and investigate access or security problems.
Your media stays on your device.
Videolooks processes the photos, videos and LUT files you import in your browser. The editor does not upload those files to a Videolooks processing server. Exports are saved to the destination you choose.
The website still needs an internet connection to load its application files and included media. Local editing is separate from the information needed to deliver a website or respond to a support request.
Optional visitor analytics.
If you choose Accept in the landing page’s cookie prompt, we use Cloudflare Zaraz to understand visits to that page and improve the website. Optional analytics starts only after your affirmative choice. Reject leaves it off. No advertising tools are enabled.
Optional analytics is limited to the landing homepage. It does not run in the account area or main editor and does not collect imported media, saved grades or individual editing actions. Zaraz’s privacy settings are enabled to hide IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, URL query parameters and external referrers from its analytics context. Cloudflare still receives the network information needed to serve a request.
You can reopen Cookies in the landing footer and choose Reject to withdraw consent without reloading the page. This turns off optional analytics and requests removal of its cookies. If cookie removal fails, we show a message so you can retry; analytics remains off. Withdrawal does not undo statistics already collected or cancel requests already sent. Cloudflare separately processes the technical requests needed to deliver and protect the website, regardless of this optional choice.
What your browser remembers.
Imported LUTs and Saved Grades are saved in browser storage so you can use them again. Favorite and recently used looks and display preferences may also remain on this device. Saved Grades are not synchronized to your account and are shared between accounts using this browser.
Video editing can use temporary browser-managed disk storage. Resources are removed when they are released, and abandoned sessions are cleaned up when video storage is next initialized. An interrupted browser session can leave temporary data until that cleanup runs.
You control your saved files.
Remove an imported LUT through the library, or clear Videolooks site data in your browser to remove locally saved files and preferences. Export anything you want to keep first.
Browser storage is not a backup. It can be cleared by you, your browser or your device. Keep your original media and LUT files somewhere safe.
Keeping or deleting account information.
Account information remains stored while you have an account. To request its deletion, email videolooksapp@gmail.com using your account address. We may need to verify the request before deleting account, linked sign-in and session records.
Sessions expire after up to seven days unless renewed. Signing out ends the current session; it does not delete your account. Technical security records and provider backups can remain for their applicable retention periods after an account request is handled.
You can also remove the VideoLooks connection in your Google Account settings. Removing that connection does not itself delete your VideoLooks account or local browser files. Clearing browser data does not delete the account stored on our server.
Your privacy rights.
Where applicable, you may request access to personal data held about you, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent without affecting its lawfulness before withdrawal.
You also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law.
